BUH. OARED.
Here is a list of things I need:
1. A working computer.
2. A cable connection.
3. Fannish friends who do not mind me being flaky and unavailable, and when I am available and they aren't they will also not mind me accusing them of being flaky and unavailable.
In other words, I'm being a giant dork* and trying to write four fanfics at a time and not writing original stuff. Sadly, no one I know would be willing to beta. Nor would anyone I know have the vast knowledge that my questions require. NOR would anyone be willing to READ MY CRAPPY IDEAS ANYWAY OMG.
I totally need to calm down and just bite the bullet and join a yahoo!group or a community that does things like help out newbies. But that takes work and I'm just going to complain in my journal because that's easier.
I am doomed to forever wallowing in isolated-from-fandom misery until this September when I go crazy and dive headfirst into Dragoncon.
*And by dork I mean there's no way any of these are getting done ever. Ever. Unless I decide to get off my ass and post this shit. I promise a lot and deliver precious little. Isn't giving your word supposed to have honor or something?
