Weekend at home

The weekend back at home was extremely relaxing and enjoyable. After I arrived on Friday afternoon, I got a hair cut (I'm rockin the army buzz now), ate Dad's scrumptious steak, and then saw "Sin City" with Danny and Bobby. The movie was great, but if you're a guy you might be in physical pain at some moments.

On Saturday, I drove down to Long Beach for the (ex-)TLC girls' state meet. I got quite lost trying to find the convention center and I came rushing in, but they hadn't even started stretching when I arrived. Some people were staring at me because I was screaming so loud, but the girls did an awesome job and deserved it. I couldn't stay for the awards, because I had to zip over to the Equestrian Center in Burbank for Juliette's wedding reception. It was pretty funny seeing a bunch of tipsy people from my church, and it was great catching up with people that I hadn't seen in quite awhile. Add that to all of the free champagne/wine you could drink, breaking it down with mom on the dancefloor, great food, and everything else, and it was a great night. I headed over to the Elephant Bar with Laureen, Mike, and friends afterwards. Mike, Jeremy, and I devoured the ice cream cookie in about a minute, and then we just hung out there and at Joanne's house.

Sunday was just completely relaxing. I chilled at the house for most of the day, watching tv, reading the paper, cleaning/redecorating my room, eating (pretty much nonstop), and watching the lakers (who are sucking sooooo badly right now). I can't wait until the summer to be able to have more opportunities to do a whole lotta nothing when I feel like it.
