I went to the post office! And they didn't think I was a total dunderfluff.  I mean, I did after I accidentally taped the notecard with the address writen down into the box, and then I had to reopen it again and argggg...  But I freaking mailed a package!  Basic skills ftw.  There is umm, a lot of white in that package.  See, I made James a blanket last yearish, and it was (off)white, black, and marroon.  And I bought waaaay too much white because I lost a few skeins and then refound them much much later.  And I thought about dyeing it, but you can do that with acrylic...  BUT I also found the yarn store near me (took a few tries...) and it's one of those swanky places with all natural fibers and no cheap acrylic to be found.  And it smells nice in there!  Like, I dunno, llamas or something.  Clean llamas in various pretty shades of blue and green.

And I think that's all.  Really.  Oh, I need a Halloween costume to match my insane shoes.  But Harry Appler and I have been scouring the thrift stores and secondhand dealers and everywhere for the past week with no luck.  Ohhhh, funny story.  We went to a head shop (y'know, those highly suspect places full of "smoking" paraphenilia?) and he thinks I should get a collar too (because that would make him happy).  Not finding anything, he asked the guy behind the counter if he had any ideas and the poor man though Harry was talking about for himself.  Awkwardness!     But all I want are some freaking cat ears!  And a tail...  So maybe I'll hit up the fabric store? hrm.  And yes, I'm using Halloween as an excuse to be a skank :(
