Carolina CTOPS, ftw
I went to Carolina CTOPS and it was weird. >.< Although the VH1 Top 100 90 Songs special is spectacular. But yes, the CTOPS. So maybe I was just incredibly unlucky, or is everyone really a jock or some preppy chick? It's really distressing, actually, and I ended up spending the entire weekend with Jamesface, Gaby, and Harry Appler. And we didn't bother making new friends, which is probably a really really bad sign. Oh, there was one girl that boy liked because she's planning on double Math and Physics majors. She's so damned quiet though, I started nervously chattering about nothing and it was awkward... *headdesk*
Aaaand, we signed up for classes! I have Chemistry, which I must do well in because it's my THIRD damn time taking it. Even if FHS Chem sucked and Roser's Chem put me to sleep, it's slightly pitiful. And I'm waitlisted for some English or other but I should probably change it since I think I exempted, oops. Umm, Ancient Cities should be interesting and, of course, Calculus (bleh). OH, and the best is yet to come! I completely suck at Spanish so I decided to switch languages, but I refuse to take a dead language (ie Latin) because I want to be able to travel decently. So yes, I'm in Chinese. Fuck. This is an existential crisis! I absolutely hate the really insane anime freaks (ahem, Jaime) because they're trying to be this thing they're not and, frankly, the obsession is a little disturbing. And you might also be able to claim I'm exceedingly jealous of little asian girls because boys have such strange fetishes for them. It's not my fault I look like an awkward, albeit curvier, giraffe in little plaid skirts! Oh, and the girls who like to stand in the elevator and speak Korean while staring at you, not my friends either. Maybe I'm just too easily irked. But the language will actually be unbelievable useful, but painful too, since I need to get all the way to level 4 to graduate with a Bio major. If I switch to Chem, I only need 3! :p But the master plan is to double major, so don't be surprised if I decide to jump out of my room window. Ten floors should be sufficient to reach max velocity, right? (Physics won't be until 2nd semester, at the earliest!)
