I watched a recent episode of The Simpsons on hulu, and they used the full introduction. This highlights the changes that have happened to the animation of the show. It looks so sterile and soulless compared to '90s Simpsons. That said, this particular episode got a couple laughs out of me. I think everyone I know who's a fan of the earlier seasons of the show couldn't care less about the new episodes. So who's watching it?

Also, the fact that season 8 is "an earlier season of the show" puts into perspective just how long it's been on the air.
