So last night I got the new Evanescence cd. I also picked up the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children movie. So lets start with the cd. Overall, it is not quite as good as the first cd. Mind you, I have only listened to is once through, but the music does not seem to be as musical, if you will. In the first cd, there was a lot of rythmic variation

Unfortunately I will be unable to come to the weekend festivities in CT. I know, I know... I should be whipped and scourged and fed to a screaming horde of hippies. Turns out PhD papers have a higher level of expectation attached to them and as much as I thought that Tuesday and Wednesday would be enough, I will need a big chunk of Friday and Saturday if I am to have this thing polished by Tuesday (when it is due). I was very much looking forward to this applecrisp... I mean weekend. I am thoroughly bummed. But perhaps I can get a raincheck? I am sure that Jer will be in the CT area again this semester and I can hich along. Stupid grad school! Why can't I just be a stay-at-home novel-reader?
If you feel the need, I offer Jeremy van Hoff as my whipping boy. Any anger you feel toward me may be directed toward him. This is a very age-old and applauded form of discipline so feel free to use liberal amounts of force.
