It's been a good day. I got to talk to David in emails this morning, he comes home in exactly a week, and I'm really excited about that. I also spent some time studying for my Linguistics test that I had this afternoon. I reallllly thought I was going to bomb it. We've covered a LOT of information... but it really makes me happy when I prepare adequately and then the test is not nearly as hard as I had anticipated. Thereforeeee I did very well. I am excited.
I am totally loving my new car. It fits my personality very well, I think. Of course, so did my old one. Happy day, they're the same car! It worked out so well. It's actually a different color, though. More red than burgundy. I like it.
I got to meet two new people tonight who are in my Ward (the people who live in my area that I go to church with) and one of them was very attractive. He's the first one I've seen in there so far who's decent-looking. Too bad he's too old for my taste. He didn't say his age, but he served a mission and graduated from BYU and now he's in graduate here, so he's probably... mm, about 25 or 26. Oh well. Not that there's anything wrong with that (Kristin's fiance is 27) but I prefer 21 or 22.
I ordered a two-person beanbag. When it comes, it will be the only furniture in our living room. I am looking forward to having something to sit on besides the floor or the exercise ball. It's the little things in life, you know?
Anyway, that's pretty much all I have for right now... I need to get in bed so I can get up in the morning. I have "History of Rock and Roll" at 9:10 and then an Institute class from 10:45-11:35. Well, I hope you're all doing wonderfully. Have a good night!
