I GOT A NEW CAR! I GOT A NEW CAR! Oh, man... I am SO excited!! In case you didn't know, my old red 1992 Toyota Camry passed away on Wednesday, June 14th of this year, of a cracked engine block and an exploded water pump. I had no choice but to sell to a scrapping company. May Cammy rest in pieces.
And today, my friends, I purchased a new car. Okay, not new. Used. But new to me. I've been searching for a while, because quite frankly, being without a car sucks, and I found one I loved... I went to test drive it today, loved it times a thousand, and checked everything out... I mean, I even got down on the ground and under the car. I checked everything I should have. And then I thought, heck! I want this car. And so I got it. It's a 2003 Toyota Camry SE (oh yeah, I got the same car. 11 years newer, hundred thousand miles fewer.) and... yeah, it's red. I love it. Camrys are my comfort car, I guess... and I can actually see over the dashboard. Searching for a car for me the first time was a pain... I got so frustrated, because I could never see! But oh, man... I love this car. Like I said, it's a deep, metalic red... tan leather interior, 6-disc cd changer and tape player, black dash, etc... 2.4L, 4 cylinder. Not a huge amount of power, but I don't need it. And the best part? The lights turn off automatically like they did on my old one. No dead batteries for me. It is my new baby, and I love it.
