Shock of the Spring
I went to two rather tourist-y places with my parents today and it was...extremely nice. No drama, no feeling ignored or like I was getting too much attention, just...peace and contentment and some cool conversations I don't even remember. My angst and need to be everything and everybody has died away this week and I hope it stays that way. I got a lecture from my mother that was part Michael, part Cogmon and part Chasey.
One would expect it to be weird, but it wasn't. And I finished my first book of the week and started Blue Girl last night...love it already.
