can't i just leave?
so i'm stuck in columbia, south carolina. why? because my plane to washington d.c. and then to hartford is delayed. i love airports. kinda. actually, it's not too bad because i do have wireless access here, but still. i'm bored. it's all chicago's fault, i hear. apparently the plane was delayed coming out of there. silly chicago.
anyway, i spent a fun and relaxing week with my mom at her apartment in augusta. it's pretty nice. i went to the movies four times because there's a theater about 2 minutes away from her place. then i went shopping a bunch. because there's lots of shopping in augusta. and lots of food. i'm trying to convince mom to get a cat. i figure it can keep her company. plus they're cut. petsmart was having adoptions fromt the humane society the other day, and there was this adorable fluffy black and white cat named jazz. i tried to convince mom to get her, but she said no. sad.
tomorrow i get to go to work. making money is cool...however, i'm not going to have too much time to spend with my friends. plus, they're going to have to drive wherever we go, as i am carless and dad won't let me drive his truck. stupid dad.
i guess i don't really have anything else to say. i'm really excited to be going back to new orleans soon, and see everyone. we will have to have a crazy party, with dancing monkeys and strobe lights. but the monkeys will have to wear diapers, because otherwise it would be far too messy. maybe i'll read for a while...
