Duty Days
Today I will be lonely all day. Alex went back to work this morning and I wont see him until breakfast at the Silver Diner tomorrow. I guess I need employment, friends, etc. No pressure. I just got here. So far I think I might just like it. Va Beach has a different vibe. Tons of good restaurants, shops, bars. Knowing me, I'll probably still get bored and complain. The apartment looks really nice downstairs. I dont know if it is just our furniture or what, but the shabbiness is gone. Alex bought a fake Van Gogh yesterday. He wanted a huge over-the-fireplace-painting. Its the one with the cafe under the stars. Its really bright and vibrant. He surprises me with his taste sometimes. I am going to try and see if I can make upstairs as nice. Right now its just a train-wreck up there. I need a haircut too. There is my mission for the day.
