All in all a good week!
It started with my hubby getting offered a position (at work) he has been eyeing for the better part of 10 years! Every time he would get close, there would be some drastic changes and positions would get abolished, along with his hopes. Well, this time, it seems it is actually going to happen. He's thrilled of course, and I couldn't be happier for him. Of course, I've already put him on notice that a promotion at work does not necessarily mean a promotion at home!!!! Pretty cheeky, seeing as he already does most of the cooking! :)
The icing on the cake happened Thursday morning when our son up in Quebec City informed us that he passed his Helicopter License test!!!! My baby is a pilot!!! YAY!!! He still has 30 hrs of flight training to do... but he's on his way! Now let's hope he gets jobs to build his hours and make him marketable.
This is such a HUGE relief because he has always had difficulties with any written tests. Not his forte. Flying OTOH is a piece of cake for him!
To think I get around in a Rav4 for work and he'll be flying around in this...
