I had to do major overtime at work.
So this weekend was a blur of working and coffee.
I am so tired and emotionally drained.
Reading about the deaths and victims from the Iranian election protests was absolutely heartbreaking for me. They had videos of citizens dying and being shot by the Iranian police for NON_VIOLENTLY protesting the election results. I saw an extremely graphic video of an innocent lady named Neda dying from a terribly gunshot wound to the chest. A sniper had shot her, will she was standing on the sidewalk watching the protests. There were even reports of children being shot and killed by the police who are trying to suppress the non-violent protests.
How can people do that to other people? Do they not have consciences? It was absolutely horrifying for me to see their pain and disbelief at being so brutally attacked. Absolutely heinous. :(
The combination of those two things have left me drained emotionally. I'm actually looking forward to Monday.
It's been a terrible weekend.
I seriously hope things settle down in Iran. :(
I'm trying to think positively right now, because my mood is terribly low.
I'm trying to focus on my Essure procedure which is on Tuesday. I am finally getting it done!
