This year I get to know work with some mainland Chinese colleagues and I find them to be quite different from my Hong Kong colleagues. I find that they are less considerates, more subjective in their thinking, think more ill about others, a little more selfish, more blunt, probably has a slightly different communication culture than I do. I also find them to be a bit less humane and more calculating.
Hong Kong girls in general are more communicative and mroe compromising. They just communicate better and better at being courteous. It's a different culture. I find the Hong Kong girls more gentle, smoother around the edges.
And I wonder why we have so many mainland Chinese here. Just kind of strange. Almost all the Chinese teachers are mainlanders. The mainland guys are way better though. Guys are just way more easy going, less calculating, more generous.
For guys, we would help when we can, we wouldn't be very calculated about it.
