Got a recommendation from a professor for a job at an RV camp as a recreation and programming director in Maine. Already had the interview lined up, but the professor found out that I was applying for it and put in a few good words for me. It's a sweet deal - $400 a week plus free housing. I don't know where the housing is compared to the camp, but it really doesn't matter.

Talked with Dr. Snyder, not Marsh, about quitting, and he said he'd talk to marsh. But I don't want to do it that way, I want to talk to him myself. That's the professional thing to do. But he was ok with it. I told him that I wanted to be working in a job that I didn't spend the whole time behind a desk. Not necessarily the truth, but not necessarily not the truth. It works.

Now I just need to find something to keep myself busy. Because I will go bored out of my mind. I just washed the kitchen and bathroom floors and counters, etc. and I can't be doing that everyday. Something will come along. it always does.
