(no subject)
So winter break is absolutely flying by. There are but a mere two weeks left of it. and I can't believe it. it has been really great. the ranch has been great and rescue has been great. The time iwth my family was much needed. I have done a lot of thinking while home.
The first and most important is that i talked to mom about quitting my fellowship, which means that i will lose the tuition money. but it's not worth the sweat and tears that I put into it. I'd much rather be doing something that I feel is beneficial to me as aperson and where I feel like i am being appreciated and the fruits of my labor are proving something. And that was a big decision.
So now, i have the daunting task of finding something in a big city that is related to my career track. Maybe I'll be able to get a job as a substitute on Monday and Friday while I don't have classes those two days. And then if I need to come home a weekend or whatever, i don't have to worry about getting off of work cuz all i have to do is say no i can't go in and that's that. We'll see what happens though.
But til then, we'll see. great weekend planned, some time with dad and brian and sometime with the crew at the ranch. wicked psyched.
