Oh boy. The pressures of college are coming back again. I am starting to get really interested in UNH. The biology studies.. that's what I really want to do. I'm so worried that there's going to be so many people applying there, that I won't get in, or something. I am applying to a couple other colleges too... I just don't even know what I want ( Read more... )

it's hard to even think about the daunting task of college preparation, but I'm glad you're trying so hard. You are certainly more prepared than me at this point. So far I have a half filled-out berklee application, which I am almost positive I'm not getting into, and no college visits, except for going with Sam and Becca last school year to UNH, which I wasn't even looking at. So kudos! and keep the steam going, don't lose it, or it'll all slow down. I haven't even gotten myself moving yet. Yikes!

I'm sure you'll do wonderfully when it comes down to time to decide! Just think about some places you're interested in and don't worry about making up your mind until you get the letters back. And there is no way you would not get into UNH. Trust me. haha. I go here ( ... )

My classes are amazing so far. :) I hate chemistry, but the instructor is really pretty good if I would just stay on top of the online work! haha. Biology is really really amazing, and I finally feel like I fully understand it. English is english, so boring, but oh well! Met some nice people in that class. My best class, the most directed toward my major and my interests, is Intro to Equine. That class is absolutely wonderful!!! Once a week we go to a lecture by an expert in a particular area of equine science, and those are absolutely fascinating. We toured the New England Equine Center and got to watch an ultrasound and a lameness exam, so that was really cool. :) Overall, I love my classes. All of the teachers are really nice and aproachable. Chem lab is murder!!! haha. There are a lot of options for classes, and the great thing about this school is that you can start right in on the ones that interest you your freshman year instead of taking just gen eds. Although at first most of them will be, I'm really excited that I got to ( ... )

OH man college stuff... I don't even want to think about it. My Quinnipiac application is ready to send off except for my essay which I have to fix, hopefully for the last time, but Ms. Franklin keeps saying there's something else wrong with it ( ... )
