Obligatory weekend update.

Friday: Brad, Nikki, and I want to Eastern Empire Chinese Buffet. Yummmm. Then we went to Blockbuster to see if we could rent War of the Roses, but they didn't have it. Soooo, we went back to Nikki's and ended up watching the end of Silence of the Lambs, because it was on TV.

Saturday: Mom and Dad took me to the Symphony League book fair (cheap books!)! And they paid for all of my books! Together, we spent almost $100 on books and magazines that ranged from $0.25 - $2.00 each. That's a lot of books and magazines! ALSO, I found the VH1 Pop-Up Video Trivia Game. That was AMAZING. This weekend, I'm totally having a Pop-Up Video party! Nikki and I went to the church to play games with the youth, then she came home with me to help me clean my living room. It looks a lot better! There are still boxes to go through, but we got the furniture arranged and the TV set up, so it actually looks like a living room now! Yay! Brad came over after he got off of work, and we watched the first episode of Firefly.

Sunday: Church was okay. It was just Brad and me. No drums, no keyboard. Brad and I were also the only college kids there. The rest of them were bums! Bums! Poor andreamarie04 got her first speeding ticket on her way to church. :( Brad and I ate lunch after church at Wendy's, then we headed to my house to watch the second episode of Firefly. I headed back to the church for youth group, which included a video clip from Rocky IV, and other assorted fun things. I think they actually liked that lesson. Went to Brad's after youth group for homemade pizza and Mario. See his annoying and unfair post about Mario at moosemcfiend.

So stay tuned for the announcement of VH1 Pop-Up Video Trivia Night this weekend at my still-unfinished apartment. I'll provide drinks if that will make the unfinishedness of my apartment any more bearable.

Latah, homies, and happy Monday!
