Well, I've finished my fall practical teaching placement. It was a sad last day, but the students were really good. I am tired today, yesterday was long. First a doctor's apointment. Hadn't seen my Dr. in 6 years so there was lots to catch up on. My arm still hurts from a tetanus booster. Then I drove north, for about 3.5 hrous to North Bay and made it in time for a 2 hour math class. Got some milk and then went home to unpack. Already starting tired isn't good. Tuesdays are a long day, too.
Here is my wildlife report from the last 3 weeks. Ah, Canadian wildlife how I've missed you.
- 3 deer (one expertly camouflaged I didn’t see him until he turned and ran away, his antlers blended in with the bare branches perfectly)
- 6 flocks of wild turkeys (though I think some of the sightings might be the same flock at different times)
- chickadees (lots of them, right around the cottage, too)
- loons and ducks
- a fox
- a beaver
- and a dead squirrel in a pine tree
I know that I haven't been writing much but Uni and practical teaching are taking up the bulk of my time.
