Gadget review: irobot looj

One of joys of owning a home is maintenance. Some is easy and some is just a pain in the ass. Cleaning out the gutters falls under the later of those two... Until today.

I recently bought the irobot looj on one of my new favorite discount websites: woot.com. This thing usually sells for over $100 but I got it for $40. All I can say is that it's worth every penny! Not only was it quick and easy but it was FUN!

It takes a little practice but once you get the hang of it, you'll love it! 5 stars!

As a little side note... if your gutters are really old (1960s) they may be too narrow for the looj. Not too many people have gutters that old because they just don't last forever. Also, if you've really neglected your gutters for say... the past 10 years, don't expect a miracle. It cleans out leaves, not 3 inches of mud.
