A Brief Man's Briefing

More shit.

I wasted the rest of break, except Thursday was a good night because I went to the Sterling to see Harry's initial comedy act. I was in good company there, and we got to see him 'Strohl' onto the stage and deliver an act worthy of my night. He definitely beat out his competitors and really told a few good ones in the time he had. He's got some delivery kinks to work out, but it was a great time seeing him up there reaping the fruits of his comedy. In addition, I got to see some friends I haven't heard from in awhile, which was also good. I have to call Corey more often. I also had a blast driving James and Dave back to James' vehicle, which took quite awhile since when I initially got there, a cop was parked behind it, and there was no way I could safely release them into easy custody considering the state they were in. So I had to drive around awhile, but it was worth it.

Sunday night, I went back to school and interrupted some couple making out when I moved back in. What the fuck, you two? Private stairwell's in the back.

The rest of this week has been most of the same as it was before. Except with nicer weather. I also made an unusual run out to Sheetz Thursday morning because Perry messaged me saying he was hungry and he'd pay for stuff if I got it. Ask, and ye shall receive. Sometimes. This time, I got to sneak in a chance to have him edit some stuff, and see him play a katamari-like game that had a cartoon snake-thing eat everything in its path, and another game where he played as flower petals. Interesting stuff they're thinking of these days.

Friday was fun. I went out to a near gangster's paradise, then back in, then went out again for weird card games and an almost arrest-worthy diner run with a few friends. Such fun. On my way back from their apartment, I saw Dave taking a smoke break. I hung around near his door for a moment or so. This caused me to be late in returning back to my campus home (I forgot to turn the alarm off, which is why I had a deadline imposed, but five minutes wasn't too bad since no one was awake).

Saturday, no one responded to my calls, so I didn't do much.

I have to stop sleeping at odd hours. I need more willpower, dammit.

There was a mouse in my room in the middle of the week. I failed to catch it and I have no idea where it is now.

I might make a return to the mountain today. I need new oil in my car soon though, especially with all the good shows I plan to hit up in the next month or two.

That's it.
