Did you notice that MO can't be called? We were too close. I think that's hilarious. Ha! My vote DID count! They were calling us for McCain and my vote helped push it so that they couldn't ^_^ Hehehe, we're a grey state this election, less than 2000 vote difference. Sure, I'd rather we went blue, but better grey than red!
As for the Patriot Act--I think anyone's going to have a hell of a time repealing THAT atrocity. The gov't loves its power. I didn't hear any promises one way or another on that one, though.
It would be nice if there would be a bit written into the US constitution that said that "The government will make no laws prohibiting marriage between two consenting adults" or "marriage is legal between any two consenting adults and no state may make a law declaring otherwise" (not that THAT would be put in with the Obama admin, neither would have had a chance with McCain)
Erm, I'm too tired (tired like crazy all the time now) but I think you get my drift. And yeah, CA was a real shocker. What the hell did they do, import a bunch of Missourians just for that part of the election? (oh, and Obama didn't even get the majority of the AA vote--he only got like 43%--idiotically, a LOT of AAs are Republican).
