Dodge Dart
I gots me a new car! Well, new to me car. It’s a 1965 dodge dart. Here’s a picture:
Ignore the date stamp.. i don’t know how to work my camera... I first saw it a few months ago and I tried to make an offer on it, but the gal I was gonna buy it from said that she’d get back to me. She never did till about 2 weeks ago. Since then I bought it for way cheap.. and well, it’s been a huge pain in the ass to register. The original owner did not pay any registration fees since 2003.. and the plates you see on the car don’t even belong to that car! It turns out she had two dodge darts and I guess these plates are the ones off her other dodge. So, not only that, I had to figure out from DMV that the gal I bought it from didn’t actually own the car.. she never filled out any paperwork from the previous owner. SOO I had to go back to her and figure out who that was and then forge her name on the papers (thank youuu Kate for the girly handwriting). After Kate forged paperwork for transfer of ownership, I had to state the plates were “lost” cause the plates that were on my car, registered for the other dart, wouldn’t work.. and telling them those plates were on the car would spawn HUGE red flags. Then I had to forge some more paperwork stating that the previous owner releases liability of the car to me.. Basically, it looked good on paper WHEN I WAS DONE..
Huge mess, and it took about 2 weeks to figure out how to do. But it’s done; I have new plates, and it in my name! W00t! It’s a blast to drive and has a huge V8 engine, and perfect for bar runs.
A bit about Nich.. It was a super nice ceremony and I got to see some people I haven’t seen in a while.. some I did want to see, some I didn’t.. but the reason I was there was to support Nich, and I could care less about the others. The way he touched people’s lives was amazing.. and the stories were great. His parents should be proud that he was so rad and loved by so many rad people.
