I was wondering if you could clear something up for me. How do we go about setting up scenarios so we may interact with other?..I know we may only interact with other people once we cross the barriers and enter their world. Because I've RP'd in other comms where you basically have to set the "who, what, when, where, why" to set the "interaction" if you will. Is there a set format?

One more thing. Are the abilities that someone has, such as Yamato from Naruto. Can he still use his "jutsu" in other worlds?

Well the characters can interact on the main comm as if it were a regular LJ community using what I like to call the "traveler's network." So they can talk to each other and so on no matter where they are.

But there isn't a set format for real life posts, no. Just establishing where you are and what you're doing works for me. It might help if you plot out some things with other players beforehand, just so you don't put up a real life post and then have no one reply to it. Because that's kind of sad.

As for abilities, as long as a character's abilities are not directly tied to something unique about the world they live in that they would not be able to find elsewhere, then they CAN use their abilities outside their homeland. HOWEVER, their powers are diminished slightly, depending on how powerful they are. Characters with more power will have more of a dampening effect, whereas characters with less power will have a smaller dampening effect, and so on.

All good? Any other questions?

sorry if im alittle slow. so fandom_crash is basically the a place where the "barriers" dont really exsist. but the barriers the seperate our worlds exsist in our characters journal right?...Now I am wondering. Does it depend on our character's abilities; surroundings; and curiosity whether or not the barriers that seperate us fades away and allows us pass to other worlds?

No no, Fandom Crash is the place where the barriers exist. The idea is that there is a physical world where these barriers separate each story from each other, and that the characters are discovering these barriers, crossing them, and finding new stories and new people on the other side.

The whole LJ and journal thing is simply a way for characters to communicate with each other.

The barriers do not fade depending on those aspects, no. It's really just luck (or player planning) that the characters find an open place in the wall... or in some cases, it's possible that the character finds a weak point in an otherwise whole wall and exploits that, breaking the wall themselves to get through.

Does that make sense?
