Oh, my favorite time of the year... you knew this was coming ;)
While I was going batshit crazy at Target over lunch, I decided it was time to resurect the tradition... Damn you, wicked_wish! DAMN JOO!!!
The people who have/still work at Mars will get this ;) If you don't get it, ask. If you don't know, and still don't ask, you're a miserable filthy wretch of a human and I hope you choke on a rock! Well, maybe that's a bit harsh... go choke on a peep. There ya go ;) Anyway, my friend wicked_wish started this tradition years ago at Mars, but it kinda died off after she packed up and headed to Seatle. The orriginal pumpkin is sitting, unfilled, on a shelf in the mars offices. I don't know how exactly it got started, she could explain better than I can. However, with her 18 bagillion lj-friends, the odds that she'll see this thread are kinda weak ;)
(in case that last bit wasn't a dead give away, yes my shoulder still hurts... it makes me grumpy, and even 5 pounds of candy and a bag of dark chocolate M&M's aren't enough to take my mind off it. Sue Me. I may have to skip Kempo tonight because of this. That annoys me. I just slapped a thermacare patch on the sore bits, here's hoping that will help.)
