They look like a perfect fit, too. Has he rather eloooooonnnngated feet, or is it just the angle?

They're pretty long. He's 6'2" and has size 12.5 feet (I think. I can never remember. He is too particular for me to try to buy him shoes anyway).

I'm impressed that you'd make socks for someone with feet that long. That's a pretty long stretch of nothingness for a while, except the pretty color changes of course.

Because of your icon, every time you write I imagine Rosie speaking the comment. This one just about made me fall off the chair.

She absolutely would say that, in a Heidi Klum voice/accent, then eat the socks.

Did you do Alison's cut and rejoin thing to get the heels a perfect one color, or did you just get really lucky?

cut and rejoin?ELW@!@#?L_@#)* no way. I did ask Seth if he was okay with an imperfect color repeat, though, and he didn't mind. I will have to cut and weave for the wristwarmers, though.

well, it looks really good, so those that choose to cut and rejoin are frickin insane. But we knew that already.

It looks like the stripes are pretty evenly matched, though, no? You're such a good gf.

Yeah, I tried to be careful to start at the same spot in the second ball of yarn, but it was mainly thanks to the yarn manufacturer that they match so well. :)
