How long are you going to be in PDX for before you leave for SF? Any chance for a meeting? You might be too exhausted, so that's ok. Did you say you were taking the train? Tell me how that is for that long of a train ride. Anyway.

And I don't remember what place you are talking about that we always go to. Or maybe you always go to it, but not with me, and I wasn't included in the "we." Don't know. But I was thinking of this one place, the Bijou Cafe which has really good breakfast, and probably good lunch, too. Also it is by Stumptown Coffee which has the absolute best coffee ever. Yum.

we aim to mail our sleeping bags and foam thingers back to seattle from pdx since we are staying in a hotel in sf.

That is probably a good idea about mailing some stuff back. Who wants to cart that around?
Are you going to be carting all your luggage with you downtown and have to drag it around as we flit about? That might not be fun. But we'll figure it out. Maybe you can check it at the station first.
