Stupid moving.
I'm tired of looking for places; they're all too expensive and too far away or ugly. I'm starting to really appreciate everyone who calls me back to say a place is already taken just because at least they're calling back.
At fifth grade graduation on Monday (I almost said "last week": it has been an exceptionally long week), a woman said to me that she finally decided to get married and to go to graduate school (separate decisions, I understand) by telling herself it wasn't forever. It worked.
