Oh I do like to be beside the seaside...
If only...
The plan today was to go camp at the seaside in North Wales with a bunch of my really good friends. I haven't noticed camping since I got ill last year and have felt my soul shrivel a small amount each day as as a result. Unfortunately little bee cut her leg open Wednesday eve and had to be anaesthetised yesterday to clean and stitch the wound. She came home yesterday eve incredibly floppy and sporting a cone of shame so we didn't feel comfortable leaving her on her own bar a few quick visits from our catsitter. So here I am on the sofa being butted in the face by a large circle of plastic feeling very sad that I'm not sipping a beer and chewing the fat round a campfire. Ah well, such is life with animals!
In better news, we've booked a really exciting holiday. Ten days stretched across Hamburg, Berlin and Munich. Never been to Germany so it's going to be a real adventure. If anyone has any suggestions of where to visit please do comment.
