Oh, Glee. Let me count the ways I love you and loved your season finale. I am with lilysaid on this front as well: what I maybe love most is all the crying, especially the men. They sure did deliver last night, didn't they? Awesome. Now I just want a massive Puck meltdown and I'll be completely satisfied.

And as much as I love this show, I have a weird thing happening where I procrastinate about watching the eps once they're on my DVR. I think it's because I don't care much about the "storylines"--I mean, Glee doesn't really have much in the way of coherent storylines anyway. They pick up and drop issues like hot cakes (like, where is Finn living now that Burt told him to GTFO? Did his mom still move into the Hummel house?). I really only watch the show for the wonderfully ridiculous characters and fabulous songs. Which means that I am in no hurry to watch, since I'm not trying to keep up with a plot, but that I like to draw the pleasure of watching out so I wait until I have two or three eps stored up and then I binge. And also, I'm lazy.

I'm reading an awesome book right now, Born to Run: A Hidden Tribe, Superathletes, and the Greatest Race the World Has Never Seen. It's completely fascinating, and the author goes in depth about why barefoot running (or barefoot anything) is so much better for you than wearing shoes, especially thick-soled cushioned running shoes. I'd heard that a few times before, but never really knew why. Now I do! I love learning new stuff. :D
