working on The Exorcist: The Musical!

We've all been working hard on The Exorcist: The Musical! People have been pitching in left and right to help with printing posters, handbills, advertising at different public events, designing the set, etc. etc.

For the last two weekends we've sent the gurls out with handbills to promote the two fundraisers we have left this month (we have a LOT of money to make to pay theatre rental and get us some special effects). Em'ma Gawd!, Tammy Dinette, Jean Therapy, Anna Rexia, Courtney Love, and friends have all hit the bars and streets. Unfortunately, bars don't want you passing out flyers, people on the street still glare at 'drag queens', and no one likes being handed a flyer, till they hear those four magic words: The Exorcist: The Musical! (THAT'S why I named the show that, m'kay?)

The last fundraiser didn't pull in a lot of people, we had such a short time to promote, but people liked the show and we'll let them in free if they come to either of the next two shows. (all three are different, due to changing performer lineups) I hate asking for money, but I owe it to a lot of people donating their time, energy and resources to do all this. We have a quality show and hilarious performers, so fuck the general placitude of this town, it's time to wake em up! This is a happening, bloody hell! :-)

oh, and I haven't joined the gym yet...but soon!

exorcist, fuck, drag queen
