Two Fundaisers for The Exorcist: The Musical!
WHAT: Bad Actor Productions Presents: A Fundraiser
for "The Exorcist: The Musical!"
The Power of Charity compels you to attend these two nights of entertainment and to help fund next year’s parody of the famous tale of horror. The fundraiser, hosted by Jean Therapy, will feature performances by Em’ma Gawd! and Anna Rexia, Tina Tourniquette, Dirty Bunny of Guerrilla Masquerade Party, and rumored special appearances by Courtney Love, Tori Amos, Brian Wilson, and… Wilson Phillips?!?
There will also be a 50/50 raffle that will benefit Bad Actor Productions and one lucky ticket buyer!
WHERE: The Cuff Complex, located on the top of Capitol Hill at 1533 13th AVE. Corner of 13th & Pine. Enter through side door.
WHEN: Wednesday, December 15 and Wednesday, December 29, at 8pm. $5 at the door. Must be 21.
WHO: Bad Actor Productions does "parodies for charities" and has also produced “Girls Just Want to Have Fun: The Movie! (A Live Version!)”, and “Dangerous Lee Press-Ons”, which was at the Richard Hugo House.
WHY: Proceeds will benefit Bad Actor Productions’ "The Exorcist: The Musical!" to be performed February 11 through March 5, 2005, at Northwest Actors Studio.
WORD OF MOUTH: “How the hell did they get Courtney Love to perform for them?” -drunken anonymous fan. “I want to be your Kurt Cobain!” -same guy. “You guys are (indecipherable)!” -Richard Hugo House audience member. “Courtney and Tori performing together? You guys are (muffled)!” -local actress we don’t know very well.
