the staged play reading is tomorrow night, I hope we get an audience. how often do I act onstage, out of drag?
speaking of, I'm working on adapting an 80s dance movie for the stage, as a Pride benefit. Em'ma and Anna will be in it, but I'm keeping that on the downlow. I've finished the poster, got me a co-director, part of the cast, and started scripting it. It's called Girls Just Want to HAve Fun: The Movie! It's a 1985 dance-off! movie w/ Sarah Jessica Parker, Helen Hunt, and a preteen Shannen Doherty! :-)
If you haven't seen it, do so! It's got classic lines like: "Velcro! After Tab and the Walkman, it's the coolest invention of the 20th Century!" and "Don't throw a mental, dad!"
