Where in the World is Craig Trolli?
This weekend's performances of Capitol Hill High 3 were fun. My Mom totally had fun and loved my horrifying New Yawk accent in one scene. She kept saying how great it was that they had to bring in more chairs for all the people. I've been really lucky, she's never had to see one of my shows with like only 6 people there. whew!
Last night there was a Goth dance party upstairs. Fortunately, it was only audible in the dressing room. I was making up lyrics to the Goth dance music. "The moon cries blood upon the desert/ I remember our last life together/ I look forward to the next..." Three Goths totally got by us and started entering through the curtain to the stage during a scene!!! Eek! :-)
I went to the Aquarium for the first time. Otters are so adorable, and we got there right at feeding time. I also learned that there is a wading bird called a Willet, that there's such a thing as a Potbelly Seahorse, and that sperm is squeezed out of a salmon, then mixed in with eggs cut out of the female. Thanks for the pictures! And I totally saw a cuttlefish shoot out a cloud of cum! All this while my Mom and brother are there with me. Eek! :-}
I finally met my new manager(s) today. I filled them in on my history. The main one was like 'you've lived here 8 years!?' He didn't know that my water heater once flooded the apt. He seems to think they'll replace my carpets, but I won't hold my breath. The callbox is still on the list of things to fix, cause apparently the electrician is not easy to track down. Oh, but my apt now has a new sofa! My Mom got me an early b'day gift (pronounced bidet like Beyonce would have it): a small sofa with footstool pull outs. It's like a minimalist futon w/out the mattress and bulk. And she got me a heart shaped pillow. I needed a new 'huggy pillow'. I like to have a favorite pillow to eat off of and hug while watching horror movies. I have a thing w/ pillows, let's just move on...
My Mom totally helped me put together my Halloween costume in like 15 minutes! I told her 'Joan Crawford in Mommie Dearest'. She found a dress, a clunky bracelet, a fake pearl choker, and later at another place I found a wig! Oh, and I showed her those Anna Rexia in Wonderland photos and she said I don't 'look like a woman as much as with the black hair'. And people wonder if she 'knows' I do drag! :-) Yeay for Mom!
So, I have like a full month's worth of "52" issues I haven't read! it's gonna be a marathon, fellow nerds! I also have old Spectre and Hellrazer comics w/ Zatanna in her 'in between costumes' phase.
Is it really so wrong to watch the Up Till Now DVD of Battlestar Gallactica and not all 1000 episodes? My video store co-worker totally bitched me out. He said B.G. comes before my commitment to House! can you imagine???? :-)
Um. Uh. I think that's all there really is to talk about. NO! WAIT! Ok, here's something: my brother showed me how to right click pictures and select 'show with full quality'! It's changed my life! Now I know what photos on Myspace look like w/out the pixelation!
I mentioned this to my castmates and they were like 'duh.' *Sheesh!*
