Things to do: Crescendo Falls and GMP!
This Friday, a bunch of us are going to go see the late night show, Crescendo Falls. It's at Theater Schmeater. You can get buzzed/drunk and be a loud, fun audience there. It's a serial late night comedy, like Capitol Hill High, and you don't need to have seen previous episodes. The latest episode features guns and knives and I hear a hot guy in underwear! Look 'em up on Myspace to see reviews (they're in my top 8 to make it easier) on their blog. Or Google it, gawd!
Guerrilla Masquerade Party: Everyone should join up at gmpseattle.com. The next Guerrilla Masquerade Party sounds awesome: a surprise birthday party for a total stranger! See the sight for details! The party is the first Saturday in Oct, so you've got time to create a costume! Once you join the group, you'll get an email the week of the event so you'll know which bar to show up at. (this helps keep the surprise)
I think it would be high-larious to have a ton of drag queens/kings, in various forms of Marilyn Monroe/Manson, cooing Happy Birthday to the surprised birthday person! :-)
