a little bit closer to beginning anew
welp, been a while. I moved into my new appartment up here in altoona, that's been cool so far. An update on the band- we might actually be able to play our october 15th show after all. not to hype up anything too much, but from what i understand we're trying out two pretty good musicians this weekend, a drummer and guitar player.
haha and no don't worry, i'm not fired yet.
we figured that if we threw another guitar player into the mix, justin would be able to fully concentrate on his vocals, which would bring out the full potential of his voice. If you don't know what i'm talking about, rub your head and pat your stomach, then once you've mastered that try singing and playing guitar... haha yeah, didn't know it was that hard huh?
both of these musicians sound really talented and dedicated, so that fits the bill. they're not 100 percent sure about us, and until i hear them, i'm obviously not 100 percent sure about them. but it's a chance, and that's where every big step starts. I'm kinda wondering about the whole situation though, because these guys sound like (from what i've heard) they're more rock-driven and i'd like to keep our alternative roots solidified. every now and then i throw some old school metal into the mix, but we still always keep that tool, chevelle, breaking benjamin sound. i just hope they don't try to change that about us, because you should always stick to your roots
