BATTLEWORLD: The Baroness's Throne Room, Weirdworld, Thursday

Morgan Le Fay
"You probably wish you had let the mutt Thor catch you, don't you?"

Jessica
Considering what had happened since she went over the wall, Jessica was giving it some serious thought. Silently.

Morgan Le Fay
"Speak up, or this face-to-face time will end swiftly." The woman speaking stood with authority. She was in charge, obviously, and she clearly wanted to make that clear. Also, there was an interesting motif of skulls plus cleavage so deep it was basically semi-nudity. Weird combination. "And so will you. But you won't die so quickly that you won't suffer."

Jessica
"There are pros and cons," Jessica answered thoughtfully.

Morgan Le Fay
"The biggest consequence is that you'd be dead and your corpse would bear unimaginable scars, of course. Although that might also be the biggest positive. Not many people are happy when they've fought Sharks from Beyond Time. Usually they find themselves jibbering madly in a corner until something or someone eats them."

Jessica
"I actually liked them more than the sky pirates," Jessica admitted. It was so annoying that she couldn't move her arms. They weren't even bound by anything corporeal. She hated magic so much. "At least the sharks didn't talk."

Morgan Le Fay
"Yes, well, you needn't worry about those pirates anymore. They've been executed."

Jessica
"What? Why?" Jessica demanded, shock in her voice.

Morgan Le Fay
"They wanted me to pay the bounty the Thors put on your head, my dear. This is Weirdworld. All things here belong to Morgan La Fey, and that includes you, that bounty, and their lives," Morgan said. "All things here exist to suit my whims."

Jessica
"I'd argue the point, but it would work better if I could move," Jessica said. "Would you mind changing that? I promise to keep the violence to a minimum."

Morgan Le Fay
"Sadly, no. You escaped Thrr and have proved to be a strong warrior in my Weirdworld," Morgan explained. "It seems being cautious was a wise choice, at least until you answered some questions for me."

Jessica
"So I get to go free once I give you some answers?" Jessica asked. "My favorite color is red, I don't believe in horoscopes, and I have a pretty good credit line. Anything else?"

Morgan Le Fay
"Adorable. Not quite the questions I had in mind," Morgan sighed. "Answer honestly so you don't try my patience. What do you seek in my domain?"

Jessica
Jessica sighed. "Fine. Passage. I was just trying to head north through domains. Nothing more," Jessica answered.

Morgan Le Fay
"That would make you fairly unique. Not treasure? Not something you lost long ago?" Morgan asked.

Jessica
"I lost my world recently, but it's gone. I'm not finding it here," Jessica said.

Morgan Le Fay
"Greater warriors than you have tried to find their lost worlds here, in fact. Why do you doubt you'll find yours?" Morgan asked.

Jessica
"Complicated scientific reasons," Jessica said. "No offense, but this doesn't seem like the kind of place that appreciates complicated science."

Morgan Le Fay
"You're right. It's dreadfully boring," Morgan answered, stifling a yawn. "Why do you seek to pass through domains? It's illegal, after all."

Jessica
"Doom," Jessica said. "I'm searching for Doom. I have some questions for him."

Morgan Le Fay
"Ha! You seek an audience with God?" Morgan asked. "The fastest way to find God is through his churches, not Weirdworld. What will you ask Doom if you reach him?"

Jessica
"I shouldn't be too specific because it gets pretty heretical pretty quickly," Jessica admitted.

Morgan Le Fay
"I like the sound of that," Morgan said. "Say no more, you shall be granted free passage through this realm."

Jessica
"Really?" Jessica asked. Already she could feel movement returning to her arms. "What's the catch?"

Morgan Le Fay
"Some information, just because I like you," Morgan smirked. "Half the barons on this world are gunning for Doom's throne. I realize what I'm up against, though. So I'll settle for spitting on a God when I can. If that means giving passage to a grand heretic who'll defy his will by crossing between domains, I'll take it."

Jessica
"Not the sentiment I was hoping for, but I'll take it," Jessica said. "Thank you."

Morgan Le Fay
"No need to thank me," Morgan said as she approached Jessica. Before Jessica could even stand up, Morgan blew some kind of sparkly dust on her. "Especially since you'll be doing me an extra favor on your way. A shame you won't remember it. Having me owe you a favor would be a big deal for you."

Jessica
"Wait, what?" Jessica started to ask. But it was too late. Her limbs finally unlocked, just in time for her to fall over, unconscious.

Morgan Le Fay
"Just giving you a message for Higher Avalon, dear," Morgan said, standing over Jessica. She waved her hands in a very particular fashion and smiled as Jessica's body glowed darkly for a moment. "Not that you need to remember any of this to deliver it. Magma Men, collect her body and throw her over the wall."
