Father's Day
Warning -- hi sugar content post.
This last Sunday was father's day. My kids got together and got me a present that was the best they could think of. Since they are 5,8,and 10 years old, candy is one of the most impressive gifts they could think of. Therefore, I got a largish box of candy. They felt it necessary to enhance the experience, so they wrote notes on each piece explaining why they chose that type. So here is the list of candy and the attached notes:
Hershey's Kissables -- Because you are kissable.
Hershey's Milk Chocolate bar -- Because you are an all American classic.
Jelly Belly jelly beans -- Because you've "bean" there for us.
Jolly Ranchers -- Because you're the jolliest, sweetest dad.
M&Ms -- Because we love you more and more each day.
Nerds -- Because you are our favorite computer nerd
Payday -- Because you work so hard for us.
Pop Rocks -- Because you rock at being a Pop.
Smarties (giant size) -- Because you are the smartest dad ever.
Starburst -- Because you are our special star.
Twix -- Because you can twix (fix) anything.
Twizzlers -- Because you twist your arms around us.
