Baby sword
So, it's been a while (a couple of years?) since I posted some plush toy swords but I've made another for a friend who just had a baby girl. The parents are big Lord of the Rings fans so for their daughter I made a plush Hadhafang (Arwen's sword). The tengwar letters that look like the word "Jam" are actually the girl's name, Elowyn. Unfortunately my sewing room is currently a nursery and my sewing machine is packed up so I hand sewed this; the blade is a little wavy since I suck at hand stitching smooth lines, LOL. Anyways:
It's sort of a tradition that I give plush weapons to all my friend's babies, starting with a boy five years ago. His parents are both black belts and study swordplay so I had the idea to make the baby his first sword, and since then all my friends want them for their kids! My own little guy has a bat'leth.
