A brief sewing question...
I'm sewing some fabric placemats tonight. I'm torn regarding whether or not to use interfacing. The fabric is thin and silky, but there will be three layers of it, if I use interfacing I'd also be adding another layer of fabric as well. If it holds it's shape, is it necessary for it to be stiff?
