I have a few extra days posting access so while November was all about old favourites I'm glad of the chance to rec some new stories. It's great that we not only have ten solid years of Crack Van recs to look back on but we still have wonderful new stories being written for The Sentinel.

Why this must be read: This excellent cyberpunk novel was written for this year's sentinelbigbang. Set in a very different, future Cascade, Jim is a sentinel looking for cybernetic modifications to control his senses and Blair is a cybernetic surgeon entangled in the underground world of the criminal "Wolfpack gang". Morgan has created a very detailed, believable world with lots of intriguing sci-fi ideas. The story is full of drama and action and is an enthralling read. A treat for us sentinel fans but I also think it could be read and enjoyed as an original work. The delightful cover art was created by luna_61
