Why this must be read: Poignant and powerful, this fic makes me tear up every time I read it. I'd often wondered how well Gai would age, given his extreme fighting style. I'm glad this fic gives him the chance for a satisfying ending. And his continuing friendship with Kakashi is icing on the good!fic cake. ^^ I like where this one ends, too.
