Because this is not your usual Fringe OT3 and that's far from a bad thing.
Overall Fringe fandom is pretty big on OT3 pairings and apart from the standard redverse Alt!Olivia/Alt!Lincoln/Alt!Charlie or amberverse Olivia/Lincoln/Peter you do get a smattering of other OT3 pairings too, but blueverse is a little short on those in general it has to be said. Also those don't usually involve one participant who is technically dead.
Things to like in this: sciencey bits, ZFT seen as a real threat, the utter weirdness of Peter seeing/hearing Olivia but knowing it isn't her (done well before any Bellivia), the further view of John's care for Olivia, plus Peter & John interactions.
