There's time travel (or is there?) and spot-on characterization, and there's the love affair that spawned a thousand fanfics, but it's handled so well, so much like these characters would handle it, that it made everything new to me again. It's amazing to me that attraction can be summed up so clearly in so few words, and that within one of the heftier fics in the fandom. Riveting all the way through.
