Richard is right...
I'm not complaining - I had a great xmas but it just came and went and its so unlike how xmas should be now that you're older. I mean whats the deal when your granparents xmas pressie piles are larger than yours??!! Hahaha! ;)
So I'm back at work (there's another thing - you're used to weeks off at xmas and now its like 3 days! Wassatabaat?) and even though its just for the one day I have a load to do and its all the crappy end of month rounding up bollocks so UGH! I have til the third off after that which is cool though.
My xmas consisted of my mother, father and myself heading back up 'home' to the shire of York and staying with my grandparents for three days. My grandma is pretty ill which kinda put a downer on things but she did really well considering. Saw cousins and their kids (taught one of them how to play 'You Could Be Mine' on his new guitar!!) and family friends too over boxing day etc. The only xmas telly I watched was the big fat quiz of the year cos Jimmy Carr, Denise Van Outen, wassizname from PeepShow and Jonathon Ross were on it. That was pretty funny. Boxing day I usually get to see one of my best friends Rachel but she couldn't make it this year which was really crap. I drank lots and lots but at a steady rate and over the whole three days so I was in that constant state of relaxing and slightly pissed merriment which was nice. 5 hour drive back home because of traffic sucked (it usually takes three and a quarter).
My pressies consisted of:
- cool new scarf
- cool new boots
- Helena Carrera 212 aftershave
- the obligatory new boxers/socks
- a book/DVD/CD from me chums
- but most importantly a wodgeload of dosh to go towards the new amp I wanna buy.
Lucky boy.
I still have a couple of pressies to give out becasue its so hard getting around to seeing everyone but I look forward to catching up with you all and celebrating the new year etc...
Its so nice to have my bed back after 4 nights of floors and sofas. I want it to be 3.45.
