Happy Friday
Today I came in to find that I won baseball tickets for next month through our work raffle- so excited because we've been wanting to take Ashley to a baseball game. I have four seats so will have to find two more people to take.
Ashley is great - last night she actually seemed interested in the book I was reading her before bed and this morning, she grabbed for it and I read it to her and she seemd to enjoy it - she pointed at things in the book and didn't seemed bothered to sit in my lap with her head on my chest. She is also starting to 'share' she likes to give you an item and then take it back from you. And she loves to imitate things - I was waving my arms this morning and she did exactly what I did and then laughed. I think we are going to the mall tomorrow - I need some new bras, her photo stuff came in that I ordered (I order a special print of one of her pictures and I got a mousepad for free) and I need to get a Father's Day gift...I had all these great ideas and flaked...so he will be getting something from the mall..I stink but he flaked on Mother's Day.
And out of nowhere - I want another baby...bad. I know how I am when I get in this type of mode so I need to be careful. I tend to throw a fit when I don't get my way. DH says no way - not for at least another year. And I agree - financially we can't afford another one right now. But another year - and then nine months preggo..and it took me 16 months to get pregnant with her..and I am almost 34. I want three...to which he said no - we can't afford three. So, I am hoping the next one is another girl and then I will have to BEG him to let me try one more time for a boy. Who would have though after a horrible pregancy of being sick every day for almost 7 months and then having a baby who didn't sleep and screamed for the first 4 months that I would ever want to do this again (a month ago I was still like NO WAY)...but she is such a joy now...I just love her so much it hurts. I can't wait to get her from daycare - my hands just itch to hold her all the way home. I am going to look into getting us a pool membership - I want for us to have a great summer - hopefully I can get into work early and then we can go to the pool on our way home. And, I am looking into our beach vacation. We are going to the Ocean the third week of August - I can't wait - our first family vacation!
