When we got the mail, there was this beautiful heart from Emiko. I had sent mine a while back, and she was behind, so I told her whenever she got to it. I promptly forgot. Yesterday, here it came! There was a little baggie of sparkley beads with it, and a lovely strip of lace, too.

Yesterday, I decided to piece the first block for the 12 x 12 x 4 project. My theme is Seasons of the Sonora Desert, and I'm calling this first one Winter Sunset.
