"You will fail."

So this game is weirdly addicting. And also really gay. For those of you who just gasped, because I never use the word "gay" like that, fear not! I have not suddenly become an asshole! I totally did not just use gay in a bad way. I used it literally, both definitions: homosexual AND happy. Just click the link. You'll understand. This is pretty much how you'll react. And then you'll be addicted. Like me. My current highest score? 36,568 points.

So, Mary, why are you online at this time of night/morning? I'll tell you, Live Journal.

I am drinking a slurpee. Said slurpee has me wired. Then I played Robot Unicorn Attack while drinking slurpee, and that made me more hyper. Slurpees were totally made as a beverage specific for tht game. For serious. Oh, crap, I totally just said "for serious", didn't I?

Today was, as far as days go, a pretty damn awesome one. This is good, since my past two days were pretty crappy, between getting sick and having seven - count 'em - seven canker sores by Tuesday morning. Only three are still bad now, and the rest have healed up. STILL. I ate a lot of soup and jell-o. Also, I left my oracord for the cankers in S'toon and it's percription and I had no refills, so I was living off tylenol for the pain. But my parents are sending me it, so s'all good.

But I just totally got sidetracked. I meant to tell you about today, because today was HAPPY. I was kind of stressed, because I have a film project due tomorrow (today, now) that I had NO IDEA what I wanted to do for. It had to be a one-take movie at least a minute long. So I was stressing. And I had a ton of work to do. AND I was late for my first class because I slept in kind of sort of accidentally, but then the prof was late too, so it was okay. ANYWAYS, I played a little Dragon Age and Alistair pretty much confessed his love for my character (I love this computer game, guys - another post for another time) and it was super adorable (my character is a female Elfin mage who I named Lacus, after the lovely Lacus Clyne from Gundam SEED) and I was all SQUEEEEEE fangirling from that, and then Patrick and I hung out. Mostly, we both read stuff and I went over some English stuff, though after I'd killed some people randomly (and by me, I mean DragonAge!Lacus) and then saved and exited. Then Patrick left and I had my weekly video chat with Nolan, who had also bought Dragon Age recently, and I was all OMG YOU'RE PLAYING A  HUMAN NOBLE WHAT'S HIS ORIGIN STORY LIKE?! 'Cause your origin story is different, depending on who you choose. Then I ate...which was...erm...okayish? And then I did more work. Bleh.

BUT THEN more awesome stuff happened, because Wednesday is wings' night, and a bunch of Luther people go out for wings' night every week, so I joined that, and then Shelby and Emily and I were all PATRICK JOIN US so he did and now he's all initiated and totally and honorary Luther res. I mean, he went to the high school. Technically, I think he has more cred than the rest of us. Anyways, wings were delicious. Then I was all GUYS IT IS SO LATE AND I NEED TO MAKE A MOVIE IN THE NEXT ELEVEN HOURS and Patrick suggested we go to the roof of a parking building he showed me one time 'cause it looks nice, so Emily, Shelby, Patrick and I went and made a very short and silly movie with no dialogue. It'll probably get YouTubed. I was on camera, Emily drove, and Shelby and Patrick starred. It was fun. And then we got slurpees, even though it was midnight. And then I blew up silver stars with a robot unicorn.

Am I the only one who thinks a robot unicorn is a brilliant concept? Who thought of that? That's genius! Why didn't I think of it? I'M TOTALLY GOING TO USE THAT IN A STORY, GUYS.

Edit: So, to 'splain the movie setting a little more...it was supposed to be an exploration of space, so the roof would be nice 'cause it's pretty. But then we decided to, instead of filming the pretty roof, film other stuff in the parkade instead. I tell you this because, when you see it on YouTube, you'll be all "...the hell? Mary, you said this place looks nice. It is a parkade, Mary. PARKADES DO NOT LOOK NICE." and you'd be totally right. You have been...warned. Or something. 'Kay, I'm crashing. To bed! Away!

this is my life, dragon age, university, dorm life, inspiration
