A Farewell to Big Thunder Mountain
Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen - at long last, my time at Fort Huachuca (Apache for "Big Thunder Mountain")* has come to an end. No more Minutemen, Illegal Aliens, Douglas Hippies, lizards in the shower, and wretched Chevrolet Dealerships.
The previously mentioned unfavorable characteristics are to be replaced by, in no particular order, by cows, dirt, cows, dirt, cows, dirt, small trees, cows, dirt, cows, dirt, and scads of armored vehicles. That's right - yours truly is going BACK TO FORT HOOD! WOOO-HOOO!
No particulars as of yet, other than I roll out of Sierra Vista on the 16th. I would ask everyone to prepare for an absence of posts but, given the irregularity of my posting anyhow, I don't suppose it will matter much. I shall try to fix that . . .
