Rumors of My Demise have been Much Exaggerated . . .

Hello all!

It's good to be back - "back" being a relative term, of course.  I hadn't actually gone anywhere - but then, I've only been home about eight hours per day for the past two weeks.

The latest AST course is everything an Army course could hope to be - relevant, informative . . . and dreadfully time-consuming.  Since we started, class has run from 0500 to 2130 (9:30 pm, for those civilian-types among us) daily.  Scads of fun.  But it looks as though things may be settling down a bit now.  It's sad when one is excited to go home at 1800 (aka 6:00 pm), but, well, it could always be worse.

As you might imagine, very little of interest to most everyone I know is happening right now.  Sadly, I will not be attending CIII - commitments here at Fort H. and such - but I hope that everyone who will make it has a blast.  Watch out for Tony D., kids!  He'll GET YA!

And now, for something completely different . . .
